Hi everyone
As I grew up my Father would share his account of events that took place on 19th August 1941 in mid-Atlantic.
I wrote down what my Dad had told me and my four brothers and when I wrote my Autobiography almost fifty years later I included his enthralling story, so that other families of relatives who survived the second world war could identify with what happened on that fateful night, when a German U-Boat torpedoed a Merchant coal ship on it's way down to Lisbon. My Autobiography is called: 'The Cutting of a Rough Diamond' and of course my Father's incredible story of survival can be found on Amazon.co.uk
Best regards
Daniel Carlton
