It has been years since I have posted at this marvelous site. I continue writing my book I began 15 years ago.
I am trying to determine when Jens Lassen Ugland became Master of M/S Mosfruit. He escaped occupied Norway and arrived in England at the beginning of August, 1940. The Mosfruit, with trips documented on this site beginning in January, 1940, apparently did not arrive in England (Liverpool) until February 1941.
I am very curious who was the Master before Ugland and when/where Ugland was assigned the Mosfruit. It's hard to believe he remained in England for 6 months before returning to sea.
