In 1924, Brazil sold its 1899-built coast defence battleship Marshal Deodoro (laid down as Ypiranga) to Mexico. Renamed Anahuac she was discarded in 1938 and stricken in 1940. I am looking for the date of her scrapping.
Given the outbreak of world war 2, is it safe to suppose that she was scrapped post-war?
