Hello again,
Here are a few more obscure Uruguayan government vessels I am trying to find more on. Not all naval; some were customs and hydrographic service. Any information would be most appreciated!
CHAPICUY: government tug
TANGARUPA: government tug
YAGUARY: tug, from Customs to Navy 1916
CORSARIO: river survey boat (130 tons, built 1888)
VANGUARDIA: dispatch boat (95 tons, built Glasgow 1908) from Customs to Navy Ministry 1916
INGENERIO: tug?
LA VALLEJA (probably GENERAL LAVALELLJA): tug?
OYARVIDE: survey vessel, ex Primus
ZAPICAN: disptach boat, ex Atlantico (162 tons)
HURACAN: tender, ex Fortuna (197 tons, built Boston 1879)
ARTIGAS: tug (265 tons, built 1931)
ASPIRANTE: training ship (150 tons, built 1919) Formerly named Exir-Dallen, Parodi, Trinidad and Gelmirez
Many thanks for any answers to al lthe experts on this board!!
