You are more than welcome to use the images. She has no photos of the ship, as cameras were not allowed and I gather none of the other passengers had smuggled a 'contraband' Brownie aboard.
It is interesting about the dates. The telegram ordering her to Montreal was sent July 13. She remembers packing furiously, and that she hadn't time to sell, or even give away, the horse she had bought. The train ticket indicates she was in Moose Jaw, Sask, on July 15. She had been ordered to be in Montreal July 18. She says she had 4 days aboard the Curacao between Montreal and Sydney (her notes also say 4 days in Montreal, but I am sure these were written long afterward and she must be mistaken). THis would put the ship in Sydney July 21, and your web page indicates the convoy sailed from Sydney July 20. I don't know how long it takes to sail Montreal-Sydney, but I wouldn't expect more than 2 days, so this would work. At the other end, she thinks they went to Portsmouth (?), and this probably accounts for the extra few days after the convoy officially arrived Liverpool.
Thanks for the info about SS Curacao, I had done an earlier Google search without finding her. I see she was in HX-310 departing NY Sept 21, so had made a fairly quick turn-around.
