Slightly out of time range I know, but thought this news should reach the wider audience.

For those who haven't heard yet, NORWAY has been sold for scrap to Bangladeshi breakers.

The text following is from a post in the Yahoo group "Ships and the Sea" on 28th Dec 2005 :

A Bangladeshi breaker won the contract and she has now been sold for
breaking up. She will depart for Chittagong soon.

ONE NEWS FOR YOU OF 2005 IS SS. NORWAY IS SOLD FOR
BREAKING AND SOON SHE WILL BE BEACHED AT BANGLADESH OR
INDIA. I HAD INSPECTED THE SHIP SS. NORWAY AT MALESIYA
ON 10-11/12/2005.
