Pr. 1860:
Det Stavangerske Dampskibsselskab, Stavanger's first ship; RYFYLKE (1855) Wheelsteamer. Built at Wingate & Co., Glasgow, UK. Broken up 1890.
Used in various services with passengers, mail and some cargo around Stavanger and on the westcoast.
Also Nordre Bergenhus Amts Dampskibe, Bergen (later Fylkesbaatane i Sogn & Fjordane)'s first two ships (sisters):
FRAMNÆS (1858) Alexander Denny, Dumbarton, UK. brt:242. B.u.1951!
FJALIR (1858) Alexander Denny, Dumbarton, UK. brt:247. (from 1944 BRANDASUND). B.u.1948.
These two have as you can see ww2-history and are mentioned in Siris list.
Another one is PATRIOT (1836) Bought to Bergen, Norway from Hamburg in 1854.
Some corrections to the above list:
2) Correct name is CONSTITUTIONEN (wheelsteamer)
4) correct name is NORDCAP (norwegian, not english)
10) Correct name is BJØRGVIN (wheelsteamer). Bought to Bergen, Norway from UK in 1839.
